Avocado and apple salad
Avocados are super foods. They are rich in healthy fats and dietary fiber. Avocados are loaded with oleic acid, which is associated with reduced inflammation. They have potassium, a mineral important to support healthy blood pressure and muscle reflex. Apples are fiber rich - which means you will feel full for longer when eating apples - its fiber content is also known for helping reduce cholesterol. They also have vitamin C and anti-oxidants.
Ingredients
1 ripe avocado
1 apple
1 tablespoon of flex seed
1 tablespoon of flex seed oil
1 tablespoon of mustard seeds
1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon of tahini
Instructions
Cut the avocado and apple in cubes. In a container mix tahini with balsamic vinegar to make the dressing. In a bowl add all solid ingredients and mix well. Drizzle with the tahini dressing. Serve.
