Crispy breaded tofu squares

I know sometimes it is hard to make tofu appeal to everyone, but I am sure this recipe does this. It is as win with vegan skepticals and I am sure it can be a success with the kids as well - imagine serving this healthy and fun option over chicken nuggets!

To prepare this one you will need only a few ingredients and not more than 30 min.

Ingredients

  • 1 block of extra firm tofu, drained

  • 1 cup of nut milk

  • 1 cup of rice flour

  • 1 corse corn flour

  • a pinch of salt

  • ground black pepper

  • Tamari or soy sauce

Instructions

Slice the tofu and drizzle with tamari sauce. Reserve. In a container add the nut milk. Pour the flours each in a separate container. Add the black pepper and salt to the corn flour container and mix. Now completely dip the tofu in nut milk and then in the milk again and in lastly in the corn flour. Repeat this with all tofu slices. Once done grill it in a grilling pan for about 5 min each side. Serve warm.
